We know that some children are earning money with their own skills or they got the property/gift after their loved loveones.So, according to income tax rules they are eligible to pay tax.

Minors can't pay their taxes directly to the Indian government.

Minor's pan card must be added with the guardian's e-filing account (if his/her parents died)

Or add his/her pan card with a father's /mother's e-filing account whose earning was more during the Previous year.

To ADD Minor's account with parent's.

We have to follow these steps.

Things which are required-

1)   Minor's Pan card

2)  Father's Pan card

3) Mother's Pan card

4) Active and recharged mobile number, linked with Aadhaar card.

5) Active e-mail id.

How do we register Parent's Pan card in e-filing?

For registration, we have to follow these steps

1)Open website www.incometax.gov.in

2)In homepage, click the registration button

3)After this click the Taxpayer button and continue

4)After this click the Resident button and continue

5)Fill Pan card number, Name, Address, Date of birth as per  mention on pan card.

6)Then fill mobile number and e-mail id.

7)Then fill both OTP'S as per mobile number and as per e-mail id.

8)Make a strong password.

9)Registration completed will appear on the home screen.

Also, you must link your Aadhaar card with Pan Card.

You will also get the message on mobile and e-mail id.

How do we Add Minor's Pan card in e-filing?

First we login to the Income tax website.

Now we have to follow these steps.

1)Now move your cursor to Authorized partner at the homepage,

you click the second option Register as representative assessee

2)Now here you fill

a) Minor's Pan number

b) Father's Pan number

c) Mother's Pan number

d) Guardian's Pan number

e) Minor's Source of Income category(skill/others)

f) Then upload these documents, Minor's Pan card, Minor's Aadhaar card, Income proof.

3) Click the submit button

4)Fill OTP'S of mobile number also got an e-mail id.

5)After you will get message Request Sent. Pending Approval.

Then you wait till approval.

Then you fill  in other people's e-filing.
